Charity Fund Raising Class

On Saturday 29th October 2016 I'm holding a 2 hour Charity yoga class at Breezeyoga in Albermarle Road, Beckenham. It's free but I am asking for donations to be made to the Penny Brohn Cancer Care Centre which is based in Bristol. A wonderful charity that offers holistic support to people living with cancer and their carers.  Breeze have kindly donated their studio free. I only have 5 spaces left so contact me to reserve your space.

Thank you.

New to Yoga?

It's such a pleasure introducing  people to yoga and teaching beginners.  If you've never been to a yoga class before, be prepared to grow and develop and to feel more at home with yourself!

I am sure, like many, you will find some inner peace as you develop the art of relaxation and meditation by coming to yoga.

The purpose of coming to a weekly class is to eventually become familiar with some of the postures. There are said to be only 8 classical postures and 84'000 variations! Yoga is inclusive, there is something for everyone. There are many different forms and there is a teacher for you. So if for example you didn't like my style, keep trying different classes until you find what's right for you.

What are the classes like?

I teach a gentle, yet challenging class and  you can expect to develop attitude, knowledge and skill in Hatha yoga. You will learn relaxation techniques, develop good breathing habits and increase flexibility and strength. As a by product you will develop excellent stress management tools such as quietening the mind and developing techniques to stop you living in the past or the future too much.Yoga can be practised by anyone of any age however it is best to have some tuition.
Currently classes are held at www.breezeyoga.co.uk in Beckenham i also teach in Bromley at Virgin Active. I don't have any private classes at the moment.

About Sue and her yoga

I have been teaching yoga for 22 years I am qualified by The British Wheel of Yoga who I trained with in 1994.  I am very proud to be registered with the BWOY who are recognised by the Sports Council of Great Britain as the governing body of yoga.

"I discovered many years ago that the body will express what the mind is concerned with. Thankfully now, there is a large body of scientific evidence to support this." Yoga is increasingly popular and with  regular practice you will change, heal and grow in many ways.  Yoga means unity, as we understand the relationship between our breath, the mind and body, we learn how to relax and how to let go of tension from the past and develop more and more ability to be present. Therefore less stressed. Simples!"

Mindfulness

Mindfulness in our thoughts, actions and behaviour is very much part of the yoga teaching.  So come along  and find yourself through yoga.

If you would like some free relaxation and mediation downloads, please subscribe to my newsletter.  You will also find downloads such as Breathe Easy, Movement Now and Stress Free with Confidence and many more in my store that will help you on your yoga journey.
